Succinic acid

The additive E 363 often acts as a substitute for citric acid as a milder acidity regulator that spares tooth enamel. It can be found in a number of products:

• dry confectionery semi-finished products;
• broth cubes and soup concentrates;
• powders for self-preparation of beverages;
• marmalade;
• fish.

Succinic acid neutralizes the negative effects of ethanol, prevents hangover. Additive E 363 is one of the components of elite vodka varieties (100 mg / l).

Cosmetology

The antioxidant has a positive reputation in cosmetology. It is a part of many anti-aging, cleansing, nourishing skin care products. Due to its strong antioxidant action, succinic acid:
